 IN A VICTORIAN TOWN,IT WAS EASY TO TELL WHO CAME FROM A POOR FAMILY AND A RICH FAMILY,BECAUSE CHILDREN FROM RICH HOMES HAD WARM CLOTHES,HAD SHOES ON THEIR FEET AND WERE FED WELL.

 CHILDREN WORKED ON FARMS,IN HOMES AS SERVENTS AND IN FACTORIES. BOYS WENT TO SEA,AS BOY SAILORS AND GIRLS WENT TO SERVICES AS HOUSEMAIDS.CHILDREN WORKED ON CITY STREETS SELLING FLOWERS,MATCHES AND RIBBONS.

 CROSSING BOYS HAD TO SWEEP THE ROADS AND CLEAN THE HORSE DUNG AND RUBBISH LEFT BY THE HORSES THAT PULLED CARTS AND CARRIGES

 MANY CHILDREN WORKED,BECAUSE THEIR FAMILIES WERE POOR SO TO HELP THEIR FAMILIES,THE VICTORIAN CHILDREN WORKED.

 VICTORIAN FAMILIES GOT NO MONEY UNLESS THEY WORKED AND MOST PEOPLE THOUGHT WORK WAS GOOD FOR CHILDREN.
