 Students planning on applying to four-year colleges should take a minimum of 16 courses at the college prep level or higher. Students planning on applying to selective colleges should take a fourth year of Math and a third year of Foreign Language to be competitive.  Academic (course selection/scheduling)  Career/College  Personal concerns Students can request an appointment with their counselor by filling out a Counselor Request form and leaving it with the front desk in the Guidance office. When counselors receive requests, they will call the student to their office as soon as possible.

 Freshman students are provided with an agenda book at the beginning of their 9 th grade year.  Located in the front of this agenda book is the student handbook, which contains all of our school rules and policies.  The student handbook is your resource for finding information on graduation requirements, the attendance policy, athletic eligibility, etc.

 Fall/Winter: Students must pass 6 classes, or 30 credits to remain eligible for participation.  Spring: Students must pass 6 classes, or 30 credits in the second marking period. Additionally, Students must be passing 30 credits at the end of the first semester (Marking period s 1 and 2 averaged).

 Missing more than 10 unexcused days per school year will result in No Credit Status.  Excused absences: Note from parent/note from doctor  Cutting class: 4 cuts = No Credit Status
