Reflection (the act of considering and thinking): Take a moment to reflect about your first several months as a high school student. Think of your successes and challenges, as well as the road ahead of you. 1. Overall, do you feel you are successfully on your way toward meeting the requirements for graduating from high school? Why or why not? 2. What choices are you making that are helping or hindering your progress toward graduating?

Reflection Mid-Quarter Progress Report Grades: STOP - Ask your teacher for a copy of your grades. After reviewing your mid-quarter progress report, answer the following questions. 1. Which of the following best describes your academic success in junior high, so far: □ I’m in the “Top 10%” - doing great in all of my classes and have a good vision of my journey. □ I’m set to graduate on time! - working hard and completing my work. □ I’m a struggling freshman - needing to spend more time on my work and preparing for assessments. □ Which way is the door? - I am not sure how to manage everything in high school. 2. Identify one academic area (math, science…) that you are proud of and explain why: 3. Identify one academic area you would like to improve. Explain why this area is in need of improvement and what you will do (use the Academic Strengtheners your teacher has displayed):

My 9th Grade Goals Set two goals that you can work on from now until the end of first semester. One goal can be personal and the other goal must be academic.
