K-12 Pathways to Graduation; NWEA MAP Spring Reading Scale Scores linked to ACT Reading Scale Scores EXPLORE 15 PLAN 17 ACT 21

EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT Reading and Math Benchmarks The ACT College Readiness Benchmarks were established from a large study of over 10,000 High Schools and over 400,000 students. The validity of the EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT College Readiness Benchmarks was investigated with a study of 76,000 students and over 90 colleges. The Benchmarks represent the ACT score that predicts with 75% accuracy that the student (who received this score in High School) will get a freshman English grade of “C” or better and with 50% accuracy that the student will get a grade of “B” or better in freshman English.
