Click to edit Master subtitle style Admissions Office coordinates the process of providing online forms to incoming freshmen. This process was created to avoid having multiple communications sent to students throughout the summer. We have fall and spring freshman and transfer versions of Forms3. Goal is to provide a seamless welcome experience between confirmation and arrival on campus. Forms3

Click to edit Master subtitle style Multiple areas already involved: Advising/Registrar Financial Aid Orientation Residence Life Parking Development Royal Card Campus Involvement CTLE Health Services Center for Service & Social Justice (FIRST) Family Weekend

Click to edit Master subtitle style In general, students found the portal and the forms process to be confusing, and they mentioned the possibility of training, especially on locating things in my.scranton.edu after confirmation. They would like the forms channel itself to disappear once the forms are completed. This creates a great location for relevant information on the Welcome tab. Student Feedback

Click to edit Master subtitle style Students are most interested in the following: Student schedule (especially if it changes) Textbooks Financial aid/bill (rss feed rather than icon) Setting up on mobile devices Checklists Software downloads MAC software A new tab with schedule, roommate information, textbooks and bill would be ideal for them Student Feedback

Click to edit Master subtitle style Currently, the Forms3 tab disappears from students’ portal accounts in mid-September, but this can be extended if there is applicable content that we would still like to display. The Luminus upgrade should provide us with new opportunities and more flexibility in the content that we can provide. We can provide content from various areas of campus at a time that is relevant to students’ needs using the portal and Forms3 process. This will make the portal experience more valuable, and more convenient for students. Future Plans

Click to edit Master subtitle style Admissions has invited more areas to become involved with the process, and is asking each area to take ownership of creating, editing and testing their forms/content. To accomplish this goal, representatives are being identified for a new Forms3 sub-committee under the Data and Technology Coordinators group. We will be meeting for the first time in January. Moving Forward
