Redesigning Developmental and Remedial Education (The University of Idaho CAMP Program) Redesign Alliance Annual Conference March 2007

The University of Idaho College Assistance Migrant Program (UI CAMP). UI-CAMP is a special program at the University of Idaho that assist students who meet the definition of Migrant/Seasonal farm workers or children of migrant farm workers. The program provides support for qualifying students during their first year of their enrollment in higher education.

All Fall Intermediate Algebra CAMP students enroll in the same Focus Group

All CAMP Students attend the lab together twice each week

CAMP RESULTS In Fall 06, 27 out of 29 Intermediate Algebra CAMP students earned an A, B or C. 23 out of the 27 above are currently enrolled in College Algebra. 20 of those presently have an A, B or C at midterm.
