Steps of Salvation O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps (Jer. 10:23). Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (Psa. 119:105). But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6). And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mk. 16:15). So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom. 10:17).
