Title III AMAO Targets NCLB requires Title III-funded LEAs and the state to meet annual performance targets for three (3) AMAOs. The first two relate specifically to English language proficiency. The third relates to meeting AYP for LEP students.

AMAO 1 AMAO 1 measures the percent of LEP students who make progress in learning English in – AMAO 1 measures the percent of LEP students who make progress in learning English in – – Kindergarten through Grade 2 – Grades 3 through 12
