AB C Degree RequirementExperience Demonstration of Practice at a blend of Accomplished/ Distinguished Level (OSTP):  Master’s degree or higher from an institution of higher education accredited by a regional accrediting organization  Nine years under a standard teaching license with 120 days of service as defined by ORC, of which  At least five years are under a professional/ permanent license/ certificate  Successful completion of the Master Teacher Portfolio Senior Professional Educator License ( ) - At a Glance A + B + C

House Bill 1 Changes to Master Teacher Program –Eliminates EMIS report Form I deleted Removes December timeline to complete process every year –Program aligns with new licensure structure effective 2011 –Program remains the same

Master Teacher Renewal MT designation expires after 5 yrs. Renewal process will be available Summer of 2012 MT designation must be renewed to maintain Senior Professional or Lead Professional licenses
