Advanced Standing in Education You must be admitted to advanced standing before taking education courses numbered 3000 or above Examples: EDEC 3400, EDMC 3000, EDSE 3500

Advanced Standing in Education Requirements Admission to Professional Education 60 semester hours Overall GPA 2.75 GPA 2.75 in each teaching field for licensure Complete the “block” for your program

Advanced Standing in Education Early Childhood “block” Math 1102 EDEC 2001, 2100, 2301, 2400, 2500, 3610, 3701, and 3801 EDTE 2000, 2010, 2020, and 2200 A second Natural Science with a lab

Advanced Standing in Education Ohio Assessment for Educators Tests are offered on specific dates at specific locations No refund if you register for the wrong test Test scores need reported to the College of Education (keep a copy for yourself) Must take in order to graduate
