 STAAR passing standards for grades 3-8 will not be set until Fall 2012  Parents will receive raw score results (number of items correct) in May 2012  Final results will be sent out in January 2013  SSI requirements for grades 5 and 8 are suspended in 2012  No retesting opportunities in May and June  Passing reading and math STAAR not required for promotion
