Presentation transcript:

Industrial Robot an industrial robot is an automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose manipulator programmable in three or more axes.

Entertainment Robots there are robots used as amusement rides, there are animatronics robots that entertain people at different festivals and amusement parks, and there are toy robots.

Household Robots robotic vacuum cleaners are the most known household robots to general public. Others include mobile webcams, gutter cleaners, lawn mowers, and pool cleaning. Soon you will be able to buy robots that will wake you up and do your chores!

Military Robots Have been used since the 1930’s in war when the Soviets used teletanks. The operator was in another tank behind the teletank. Since then we have created military robots to carry cargo, search and rescue, fire fight, clear mines, conduct surveillance, and fight in combat.

Medical Robots used in the medical field to perform surgery, perform mundane tasks, lifting and moving patients, and perform therapy. A related field is bionic prosthetics and nano- robots will be used in the possible near future.

Assistive Robots used to help the disabled.

Exploratory Robots Used to explore new places like deep water, planets, and space.
