A core of action short of strike action, which all members would be expected to follow:- 1 Full implementation of all contractual provisions (2010 STPCD as the benchmark) 2 Full implementation of performance management arrangements (as per 2007 regulations) 3 A menu of instructions, according to the issues to be addressed in all or particular schools. (These could include; meetings, reports, lesson planning, assessment. A workload survey will inform this)
Strike action A successful ballot on strike action would enable:- National action. Targeted action in a cluster of schools. A response to management who may be hostile to the action short of strike. Jointly timed action with other public service unions
BALLOT TIMETABLE 17 OctoberDispute notification to Ministers Notification to the employers posted to arrive by 20 October. 4 NovemberBallot papers posted to members by Electoral Reform Society. 17 NovemberBallot closes. 18 NovemberBallot result announced and, subject to successful outcome, members notified of action to be taken.
