Examples to support First Past the Post

2007 Scottish parliament election using Additional Member System had 140,000 spoilt ballot papers  Hint 2 x 7 = 14

Russell Brown won the Dumfries and Galloway constituency in 2010 and people in Castle Douglas know clearly who they should contact for help.

2007 Scottish parliament election had 50% turn out using Additional Member System. 

2012 By- Election George Galloway won huge landslide on his anti-war in Iraq stance. Voters showed disapproval with govt by voting for him.

2009 European Parliament using Proportional Representation BNP got 2 seats 

Winner takes all – Fair In 2010 Glenda Jackson (Labour) won Hampstead and Kilbrun seat with only 42 votes more than the Conservatives.
