Assessment Post-Code 4

The Assessment Post-Code application allows schools and districts to review and certify demographic, indicators, and other elements of 3-8 and EOI assessments. After the data have been reviewed and certified, it will be sent back to the testing company where the final results will be compiled. The data reviewed and certified during this window will be used to populate the performance and growth sections of the A-F Report Card. Purpose of the Assessment Post- Code Application 5

4-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate 8

From the USDE as defined in 34 C.F.R. §200.19(b)(1)(i)-(iv): From the beginning of 9 th grade, students who are entering that grade for the first time form a cohort that is subsequently “adjusted” by adding any students who transfer into the cohort later during the 9th grade and the next three years and subtracting any students who transfer out, emigrate to another country, or die during that same period. What is the 4-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate? 9

A-F Advanced Coursework App 13

The A-F Advanced Coursework app is a WAVE application that allows schools and districts to certify the participation and performance of students taking advanced coursework What courses should be on the report? Middle schools: Honors courses, Pre-AP courses, High School courses taken at middle school grades High Schools: AP courses, IB courses, AICE courses, concurrent enrollment course, CareerTech industry certification courses What is the A-F Advanced Coursework App? 14

 Part of the A-F Report Card  Only for High Schools and Middle Schools  Reported on Site Report Cards  Middle schools will earn 2 bonus points for meeting the participation criteria  High schools will earn 1 bonus point for meeting either the participation or performance criteria How will the Advanced Coursework data be used? 15

 The Wave  information pulled from your Student Info System  Information is “live” (i.e., nightly updated from your SIS) on the “Prepopulated Data” screen  When changed to “On Screen Data Entry” the course information is no longer updated live from your SIS  Notes:  Results of AP and IB exams will be used to determine performance points for their respective courses and won’t be on this app What Are the Data Sources for the Advanced Coursework Report? 16

SMART Report 18

The Supplemental Membership Annual Reporting Totals, or SMART Report, gathers data for those students who are not reported on the October 1 st Report. These are students who exited prior to, or enter after October 1. What is the SMART Report? 19

This data will supplement other reports (October 1 Consolidated Report, Exit Report, Drop Out Report) in order to gather the data necessary to calculate the Federal Four-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate. How will the SMART Report data be used? 20

 The Wave  The data in the Final Report section is entirely pre- populated from your local student information system.  The Final Report data updates nightly from any changes made in your local system that day. What Are the Data Sources for the SMART Report? 21
