Where are you now? Aim high! By this stage you should now have had the opportunity to speak to your teacher (personal interview) about…. A) your year 10 mock results B) your coursework to date C) your personal targets (with teachers support) for the yr 11 mocks and for GCSE (remember you should be aiming to go up at least one grade between the mock and the final examinations)

The 4 skills Remember there are 4 examinations; A) Reading H/F(H =40 mins + 5 mins reading time, F = 30 mins + 5 mins reading time) B) Listening H/F(H=40 mins + 5 mins reading, F = 30 mins + 5 mins reading time) C) Oral H/F (H = higher role-play mins GC, F=foundation role play mins GC) D) Coursework (3 pieces, at least 1 in controlled conditions)

So how do you decide? Your teacher will have a recommendation and will ultimately make the final decision. Your teacher will use your year 10 mock examinations as evidence.
