MA TESOL Low Residency Degree Sequence (34 credits) Year One –S–Summer (early June to mid- August): Coursework online followed by a three- week session on SIT’s campus –S–Sept–May: Coursework online and an Interim-Year Teaching Practicum at the student’s place of employment Year Two –S–Summer: Coursework online and a three-week session on SIT’s campus –S–Sept–Dec: Coursework online –J–Jan–May: Independent Professional Project (thesis) Program eligibility: minimum of two years of second-language teaching experience and a job teaching ESOL for the September–June period between the two summer sessions.
