BİRTH: on 29th March, 1432 in Edirne DEATH: on 3rd May, 1481 in Gebze FATHER’S NAME: Sultan Murad 1st MOTHER’S NAME: Hûma Hatun Sultan Murad 1st SULTAN FATİH MEHMET HAN bin SULTAN MURAT HAN

He was sent to Manisa with his mother when he was 9. He learned Arabic, Persian, Latinian and Greek. He was educated by Molla Gürani and Molla Hüsrev. He was very interested in History and Mythology. His dream was to conquer Constaninapole one day. Sultan Murad 1st called him to Edirne to be Sultan but he was sent back to Manisa because of the Varna War.
