2 A Warm Penguin By Mrs. Miket Here comes a penguin chick! His feathers keep him warm and cozy. Underneath his feathers and skin is a layer of blubber or fat. When he goes for a swim in the cold Antarctic Ocean his blubber keeps him safe in the sub-zero temperatures.

3 The Baby Ermine By Jessica Here comes the ermine! Ermine have white fur and a tail with a black tip. Ermine live in the underground burrows of its victims. The ermine lines its nest with grass, feathers and hairs from other animals.
