Staining C.E.School working with Lancashire Adult Learning A celebration of learning together Family Arts and Crafts

We looked at cold colours and made an icy blue pattern and we used food colouring to paint over masking tape to make a cold, tree picture. It was like magic when we took the tape off.

Animals from cold countries We made a Polar Bear and a Penguin using techniques of, paper tearing, scrunching and sculpture

This is us working together

Our finished work

We linked senses to the winter theme, smells and touch. We rubbed cinnamon sticks and nutmeg on sandpaper to create a winter, warm smell and cut it into the shape of a gingerbread man.

We also made a winter scene using old cards and linked the style to L.S. Lowry’s paintings

We were pleased with our efforts and achievements

We went on to make snowmen in different ways

THE END
