Bob the Builder earns cubes by listening to his teacher and following directions. I can earn cubes by: 1. Listening to my teacher 2. Following directions

Bob likes to go to the library. He sits quietly and listens to Mrs. Henning. When I go to the library, I will: 1. Sit quietly 2. Listen to the librarian When the librariran is finished talking, Bob and I can check out books.

Sometimes, Bob gets upset when things do not go the way he thinks they should. When this happens, Bob takes a deep breath and counts to 10. If this does not work, Bob asks his para to go out to hallway. When I get upset, I can use these tools: 1. I can take a deep breath and count to I can ask my para to go out to the hallway. Bob and I know things go better if we use our tools.

Bob likes to be the Line Leader but knows he must take his turn. I like to be the line leader too, but I must take my turn. Bob and I know this gives everyone a chance to do classroom job.

Bob the Builder likes to buy items from the treasure chest. Sometimes, Bob has not earned enough money to buy things he wants. He knows he can buy other items or wait till next time when he has earned more money. When I don’t have enough money to buy what I want, I can: 1. Buy other items 2. Wait till next time when I have earned more money

Bob likes Music Class. He always listens to the Music teacher. He sits where she asks him to, does actions to music and sings with his group at the piano. When I go to Music, I will: 1. Listen to the Music teacher 2. Sit where I am asked to 3. Do the actions to the music 4. Sing with my group at the piano.

Bob likes to bring toys out to recess. He knows he must bring the toys back into school when recess is over. Sometimes, all the toys are gone, but Bob does not get upset. He knows there are other things he can do on the playground. When, it is time for recess, I can: 1. Take out a toy 2. Bring it in when recess is over I will not get upset if all the toys are gone. I know there are other things to play with during recess.

When the teacher is talking, Bob listens quietly. If he knows the answer to the teacher’s question, he raises his hand and waits to be called on. If the teacher calls on someone else, Bob does not get upset. He knows the teacher will call on him another time. When the teacher is talking, I will: 1. Listen quietly 2. Raise my hand if I know the answer 3. I will not get upset if the teacher does not call on me. I know she will call on me another time.

When it is time to listen, Bob sits quietly. He does not make noises.. When it is time to listen, I will: 1. Sit quietly 2. Not make noises Bob and I want to hear everything the teacher has to say.

When the teacher is giving directions, Bob pays attention and gets right to work. When it is time to do an assignment, I will: 1. Pay attention 2. Get right to work Bob and I like to get the job done.

 Stephanie has a schedule she follows every day. I have a schedule too. Looking at our schedules helps us to know what comes next.

 Stephanie has work to do on the computer. I have work to do on the computer too. When Stephanie and I get our work done, we earn rewards. Stephanie and I like to work for rewards.

 Stephanie has done a good job working today. She has earned her choice. When I do a good job working, I can earn my choice too. I like working hard and earning choices.

 Sometimes Stephanie’s face is red. Stephanie uses mommy’s lotion when this happens. Stephanie doesn’t like the lotion, but she knows it will make her feel better. If I use mommy’s lotion, I will feel better too!

 Sometimes, Stephanie gets loud. This hurts my ears. I like it when Stephanie uses her little voice. Sometimes, I can get loud too. I need to use my little voice. Everyone likes it when Stephanie and I use our little voices.

 Sometimes Stephanie needs a break--just like me. Stephanie and I can ask for a break and go the OT/PT Room and play on the barrel for 5 minutes. Stephanie knows she must go back to work after her break. I must go back to work after my break too! Stephanie is proud me when I do this. Roosevelt Elementary:

 When Stephanie goes to the bathroom, she always remembers to shut the door. I need to remember to shut the bathroom door too. Stephanie and I like privacy when we use the bathroom.

 When Stephanie uses the potty, she always makes sure to pull the curtain shut. I need to remember to pull the curtain shut too. Stephanie and I like privacy when using the potty.

 Sometimes Stephanie needs to use the potty. Sometimes I need to use the potty too. Stephanie and I both know we should flush the potty when we are done. It make a loud sound, but it keeps the potty clean. Stephanie and I like to use clean potties.

 After Stephanie eats lunch, she needs to brush her teeth and wash her face. I need to brush my teeth and wash my face after lunch too. Stephanie and I will have clean faces and nice teeth if we do this.

 Sometimes, Stephanie does not feel well. Mrs. Hauptman checks her ears to see if they are red inside. When I do not feel well, Mrs. Hauptman can check my ears and tell mommy if I need to get some medicine to feel better.

 Sometimes, when Stephanie does not feel well, the nurse takes her temperature to see if she has a fever. Stephanie knows this does not hurt. When I do not feel well, the nurse can take my temperature. She will tell mommy if I have a fever.

 Stephanie knows there are rules to follow when checking out books. If she forgets the rules, Mrs. Helget will help her. Stephanie likes to check out books. So do I.

 Stephanie really likes chips. I really like chips. Stephanie also likes other kinds of foods. Stephanie had to try other kinds of foods to find out if she liked them. If I try other kinds of foods, I may find I like them too.

 Stephanie loves her mommy and her mommy loves Stephanie. Stephanie is happy when her mommy comes to get her from school.

 Stephanie’s mommy would be very sad if Stephanie was gone when she came to pick her up at school. Stephanie needs to go home with her mommy. I will miss Stephanie, but I can see her at school again.
