Decoding= breaking words apart Look at the beginning of the word, and end of the word and think about what makes sense Find words inside a word Find CHUNKS Look around for rhyming sounds that can be found Break the word into syllables Inside Finding CHUNKS Around, found, sound Atlantic Wisconsin indestructible
