Create a new power point presentation: Requirements: A title slide with title, name, number, and date A table of contents slide A slide describing the hypothesis A slide describing how the experiment was conducted A slide including the results (data table) A slide describing the conclusion Hyperlinks from the table of content slide At least 4 pictures throughout the entire slide show Animations on each slide Link to Standards

How to insert a new slide in a power point presentation How to insert a picture in a power point presentation How to change the slide backgrounds How to insert hyperlinks How to add animations to a slide How to create a new power point presentation

Left click the start button at the bottom left of your screen. Double click Microsoft Power Point (if not found there, select all programs then Microsoft Power Point) Don’t forget to save your work (like in Word; File-Save) Return to Table of Contents

Click New Slide on the Home tab ribbon. You can move the slide position in the show by clicking and dragging it to where you want it on the left side bar. If you don’t have the side bar, choose this icon on the bottom right of your screen When you have your power point presentation open Return to Table of Contents

Conclusion After doing this project you will not only have completed a science experiment, but you will have also acquired or enhanced your technology skills in presentation. This assessment has also incorporated other means of media and learning skills rather than just writing. In closing, I personally hope everyone, no matter what your ability or knowledge level of the content has enjoyed this assignment. With much aloha, Mr. Pau
