US Symbols Elementary School Social Studies

The United States Flag represents the entire country. Fifty stars represent the fifty states and thirteen stripes represent the original thirteen colonies that became the first thirteen states. The Statue of Liberty is a sign of friendship between countries and represents hope and freedom. The Liberty Bell was rung to summon citizens and mark important meetings or events.
