AVAXAT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SCHOOL AND PLAYGROUND RULES LEARN MORE RESPECT ALL!

LEARN MORE – RESPECT ALL! We will follow directions with a positive attitude We will listen when others are talking We will keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves We will use good manners and appropriate language. Who you are makes a difference - Character Counts!

CHARACTER COUNTS Trustworthy – Always tell the truth Respectful – No bully-zone Responsible – Be accountable and always follow directions Fair – Always play by the SCHOOL rules Caring – Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated Great Citizen – Follow all classroom rules, and, throw away all trash.

GENERAL SCHOOL RULES Walking feet to and from class No bikes, scooters, or skateboards on the campus No gum Hats off indoors No swim suit trunks, spaghetti strap shirts, or flip- flop shoes.

PLAYGROUND RULES No food on playground. All food must be eaten at the lunch tables or in the MPR Slide down slides and climb up ladders or stairs. Tag or chase games are not allowed Stop and kneel when the recess bell rings. Staff will blow whistle as a signal to WALK to lines! Use school wall-ball rules. Do not make up your own rules.

RESTROOM RULES Use the restroom correctly Wash hands after using the restroom Stay in your stall only. Do not look under or over the partition wall.

EATING RULES Only eat your food. You might be allergic to other foods Use indoor voices while in the MPR or at the lunch tables “Respect my self and others” – Clean up after yourself and throw away all trash in a trash can.

CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING THE RULES Warning Loss of recesses + phone call home Loss of multiple recesses + phone call home Suspension from school

INCENTIVES TO FOLLOW THE RULES The feeling of knowing you did the right thing. Earn TRRFCC tickets 10 Terrific tickets earns you a trip to the Avaxat Treasure Box on Mondays
