I – INSEE in some figures EMOS - Southampton June INSEE Statistical Services Ministries (SSM) TOTAL category A (ENSAE+ENSAI) (high-level statistician- economist) category B (CEFIL) (average-level statistician) category C Total

EMOS - Southampton June  More than 90% of high-level and average-level statisticians are trained in INSEE schools  More than a third of INSEE personnel is responsible for high-level statistics and economic work, and some of this personnel has management tasks (category A)  Another third is in charge of technical aspects of the statistics and works on production surveys, indexes, etc. (category B)  More than 10% of the personnel, i.e. 25% of senior officers, works in ministries’ statistics departments (SSM)
