Based on the play Green Grow The Lilacs by Lynn Riggs. There high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys where Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, live and eventually fall in love. A classic Rodgers and Hammerstein production.

The moment his is about to give up all hope, Catherine, who has a boy and young estate, picks him up off the street. Pippin, still thinking that love isn't for him, leaves him. In the end Pippin looks at his life and finds that what he was looking for the entire time, was there all along.
