Affectionately referred to by all who knew him as “Boh” Officially recognized as “The Guiding Spirit of Kappa Kappa Psi.” Born September 23, 1878 in Frantisky, Bohemia
Boh immigrated to the United States in 1895 at the age of seventeen to join his sister in Clarkson, Nebraska At the turn of the century, Boh decided to form his own band.
Moved to Woodward, Oklahoma in 1904 “King of Oklahoma March” – Boh’s first march Selected as band director at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College on September 1, 1915 Boh resigned his position at OAMC in July 1943 due to WWII, age and Parkinson’s Disease
International Who’s Who Who’s Who in Oklahoma Pierre Key’s Musical Who’s Who Honorary major in the OAMC ROTC Elected 4 th Grand President of KKY Elected to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Received honorary Doctor of Music degree from the University of Tulsa
