Challenge to Lead Southern Regional Education Board Oklahoma Challenge to Lead Goals 12 Goals  First-Grade Readiness : Students are ready for first grade.  Early Grades Achievement : All groups exceed national averages and gaps close.  Middle Grades Achievement: All groups exceed national averages and gaps close.  High School Graduation: All young adults earn a diploma – or, if not, pass the GED tests.  College and Career Readiness: High school graduates are prepared for postsecondary education and a career.  Adult Literacy and Job Training: Adults without diplomas participate in literacy and job skills training and further education.
