DCMST Dearborn Center For Mathematics, Science & Technology

Who can apply?  Current 8 th grader  Will complete Algebra I  Will attend DHS, EFHS, or FHS  Interest in math, science, medicine, engineering, computer science

How to apply 1. Complete Student Application on DCMST website 2. Turn in parent release form to your current math teacher or counselor ASAP 3. Application due date is February 6, 2015

Acceptance Admission Committee may consider:  GPA  MEAP Scores  Teacher Recommendations  Essay Responses  NWEA Scores  Common Assessment Scores

DCMST  9 th and 10 th Graders attend in the afternoon  Go to home high school for hours 1,2,3  Eat lunch at home high school  Take the DPS bus to DCMST for hours 4, 5, 6  Take DPS bus back to home high school

DCMST and Sports/Clubs  Students return to home high school by the time school lets out allowing participation in all after-school activities
