For 1 st – 4 th grade students with disabilities 30 mins. of instruction daily, 4 days/week One-on-one instruction Using progress monitoring

 76 students  10 4 th graders  24 3 rd graders  27 2 nd graders  15 1 st graders  28 of 76 on IEPs  48 “At Risk” at the start of the year  50 tutors

 60% of 4 th graders passed Ohio Achievement Assessment  Avg 1 st grader reading level went up 5 levels  Avg 2 nd grader reading level went up 6 levels  Avg 3 rd grader reading level went up 4 levels  Avg 4 th grader reading level went up 4 levels

 Of 24 3 rd graders, 10 passed their O.A.A.  Average student increased cold/warm/hot reads by 26 words/min.

 $1.00 per hour of mentoring  Low license cost of $59.95 per year for 16 students  Uses volunteers
