6th LA tutoring with Mrs. Watkins will start back on Tuesday, 1/13. We will meet every Tuesday from 2:00-2:45. 6 th Grade Notes:

8 th grade Honors Academy applicants: You will need to see Mrs. Thompson to get a copy of your TCAP results for your application. You will also need to find your EXPLORE test results. You will NOT need a copy of your discipline, attendance and grade reports. They will have access to those records on Powerschool at the high school.

Mustang Marathon Water Break Friday, JAN. 30! Be sure you ‘CHECK IN’ with Mrs. Cole before the Water break!

Library Overdues Wow! Are there a bunch of them—and big ol’ fines! Let’s get those cleared up ASAP!!

Please remind your parents to pull all the way up to the next car to drop you off in the morning. Cars should not stop at the nearest entrance to try and get closer. This slows down the car line for everyone. CAR RIDERS:

Builder’s Club The Builder’s club is collecting pairs of ADULT socks & gloves for the “Room at the INN” facility to help the homeless stay warm during the winter months. We need your help! If you would like to donate, please turn in all socks and gloves to Mr. Saulsberry in room (408) or Mrs. Harlow in room (406) by January 30 th.

In the afternoon, students should stand in a line like instructed at the beginning of the school year. The line goes all the way to the light pole at the far end of the building. Cell phones should NOT be out, and students should be watching for their cars. Thank you for helping make this process run smoother. CAR RIDERS:

Students: please bring paper & pencil/pen to library this week during training. Also bring your student PIN; you can find this on PowerSchool. Training

The Library will be closed during lunch this week due to training.

Box Tops Bring your Box Tops today Tuesday, January 13!

Destination Imagination Destination Imagination is in need of TWO adults will to be appraisers. Please have your parent or call Mrs. Watkins ASAP if interested.

Jan The library will be collecting gently used books (all levels) for the Germantown Library Bookstore. Homeroom that turns in the most will receive $100. The school that turns in the most wins $500. (We missed winning last year by 94 books to Riverdale.) USED BOOK COLLECTION DRIVE:

Our next meeting is Tuesday, January 13, in Mr. Saulsberry’s room from 2:00-3:00. We will also have our New Year’s party at that time. Please come by Mrs. McKinney’s room this week to sign up to bring snacks for the party. Meeting

Stem ‘Stangs Robot Club STEM STANGS Robot Club will meet Jan 13, 16, and 23 2:00-3:30.

Artfully! We will meet Tuesday, Jan. 13 till 3 in Mrs. Gabb and Ms. Nickell’s art rooms.

Beta Members: Our next meeting is January 22nd at 6:35 am in the gym. We will be discussing the Beta Pet Project. The Pet Project is required for all Beta members.

Beta Members: If you attended the Beta Convention, please be prepared to say a couple of things about the convention at our next meeting.

HMD HMS IMPACT will meet Monday, January 26TH, after school in room 111.

We will meet this Thursday, January 15 from 2-3 in Mrs. Rudisill’s room.
