Cylinder: Final Resin Layer Glass Wrap Carbon Wrap Aluminium Liner HIGH PERFORMANCE LIGHT WEIGHT COMPRESSED AIR CYLINDER Final Resin Layer Glass Wrap Carbon Wrap Aluminium Liner Anti corrosive layer Cylinder: Aluminium lined Carbon Fibre wrap coated in glass fibre wrap finished with an Epoxy Resin top coat (Dräger Tweed). Carry using main body of valve, facing away from body. Store valve pointing down. From closed to fully open, no less than 2 full turns (3.5 Revolutions). Don’t Over Tighten Marked with cylinder re-test date. 300 bar 2454 litres air – 9ltr water capacity.(1.1 correction factor ) Pressure tested every 5 yrs with 20 year lifespan. Never completely drain cylinder, leave min of 2 bar in to prevent internal contamination & moisture ingress. Black & white quartering on shoulders denotes breathable air. 9 x 300/1.1 = 2454 Litres Cylinder Valise 300bar cylinder Re-enforcing strap at top Zip to close Carry handle Made from durable re-enforced plastic material Main valve Anti-debris tube (First Stage Filtration) Female threaded connector Main valve handle – pull & turn to close Copper anti debris tube Right angled cylinder valve NEXT

Reducer Anti-tamper disk Longer Thread for 300 bar Built in Anti-vibration O-ring Spring loaded reducer mounting Pneumatic Whistle 2nd wearer ‘Y-Piece’ Pneumatics. First stage pressure reducer – Nickel Plated Brass, with inbuilt mechanical whistle. Reduces from 300 bar to 6 -9 bar. 10 year service life. Threaded hand wheel to connect to cylinder, finger and thumb only! Compression ‘O’ ring acts as anti-vibration device. (Inbuilt into hand wheel) Sintered bronze filter. 2 outlet ports, one high pressure, one medium pressure. (Medium pressure port incorporates pressure relief valve – hose lifts very slightly off its seating). 11-16 bars. Pneumatic whistle operates between 60 +/- 5 bars Electronic whistle in the bodyguard operates at 74 Bar (There will be some time delay between operation of both LPWW’s this is normal and due to the electronic monitoring unit detecting cylinder contents). O-Ring & Bronze Sintered Filter changed every 12 Months Choke screw set to 25L/Min Hoses. Flexible anti-kinking hose made from Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) rubber. Medium pressure travels from medium pressure port through a small ‘Y’ piece to the Demand Valve via female quick release coupling. From the other side of the ‘Y’ piece, there is a dual purpose hose for used for second wearer attachment High pressure travels from high pressure port to Electronic Monitoring Unit (EMU). From here there is a series of wires which are routed through a protective hose to the Body guard 7000. High pressure hose is different from medium pressure - inside it is a fine bore copper capillary tube coil wound round a multi-stranded phosphor bronze wire. Capillary tube and wire are brazed to each of the end fittings of the tube/wire assembly. High pressure air flows through the capillary tube. O-ring for pressure seal Bronze sintered filter MENU

Harness: Neoprene rubber bonded to polyester fibre matrix High wear resistance Harness remains in position High temperature performance Material grips the wearers clothing and prevents slippage. NEXT

Harness Shoulder straps (designed to grip wearers PPE) Hose retaining flaps Cylinder strap with “camlock” buckle Spark-proof buckles Harness & Cylinder Strap. Two Neoprene Polyester photo luminescent hose retaining flaps with lift to spot locking studs. Quick release waist belt & shoulder straps constructed from flame retardant woven polyester wrap coated with flame retardant Neoprene. Trident clip buckle made from flame retardant Nylon. Universal cylinder strap made from 100% Navy Nomex. Camlock Buckle made from glass filled Nylon. All straps manufactured containing 50% Kevlar webbing meeting EN 137. Stainless steel spark-proof shoulder strap buckles. Designed to carry 2/3 weight on hips. Curved trident clip on waist belt assembly The shoulder and waist padding are manufactured using a compression forming process. The inner padding is produced from a flame retardant, closed cell, fully vulcanised foam. The inner liner is then covered with outer layers of woven polyester covered with Neoprene. The outer edges are covered with a stitched binding of the same material as the outer layer. Trident clip Quick release Waist belt assembly PREVIOUS NEXT

Pneumatics Filter and ‘O’ ring replaced annually. Reducer exchanged every ten years. Reducer output 6-9 bar (dynamic & static pressures ) Reducer relief valve lift off pressure 11-16 bar. Choke screw set to 25 lts per minute. Pneumatic LPWW operates at 60 Bar + or – 5 Bar Whistle uses approx. 4 ltrs of air per minute. Positive pressure in mask between 0.1 and 0.3 bar above atmosphere… NEXT
