The Seasons
In January, my child, you would be amazed with the snow
In February, my child you will explore and learn and play and play
In March you will look around and get angry because of so much injustice
And the seasons change …
In april mijn kind, zal je lopen, en botsen, en schreeuwen, tegen ieder die het wil horen In April my child, you will walk and bump, and shout, to anyone who likes to hear it
In May you'll explore love
In June you can taste, and you'll drink fully
And the seasons will change
In July, my child, you'll explore the world, the sun and the warm night
In August you'll run, jump into the water, drawn in new, in sweet, in life
In September you'll be tired, child, and you'll dream in distance
And the seasons change
In October my child, you'll think, and quietly stare, and slowly understand
In November you'll write, look at the photographs and smile
In December my child, maybe, you'll look amazed again at the snow
You'll quietly close your eyes and be happy
because the seasons, my child
the seasons will change
