Where is Cabo Frio?

Mean SST The name Cabo Frio means “Cold Cape” in English → the waters are very cold

Importance  - In 2009, more than 27 tons of fish were caught in the region of Cabo Frio;  - In Brazil, almost 60% of the fisheries come from artisanal fishing → as much as 500,000 tons per year;  - So, the upwelling phenomenon is important for the economy of the Cabo Frio region, specially for the large community of fishermen present in the area.
