IWV GPS vs RS Vaisala RS92 Modem M-10 Graw MOIST DRY From Poster Bock et al., 5th HYMEX workshop Slot
Mallorca: Vaisala RS92
Corte: Graw
Payerne: Meteolabor
Alger: ?
French operational sites + Barcelona: MODEM M10 NO bias correction Intercomparison from DEMEVAP 2011, (O. Bock et al.)
Conclusion an operational humidity bias correction for RS exists in AROME this correction depends on sonde type, pressure, solar elevation and humidity this correction is consistent with the IWV monitoring for Vaisala and Graw sondes MODEM-M10 are not corrected yet (Barcelona, Ajaccio, Nimes) Payerne and Alger sites need further investigations
