(The most exciting aspect of ESS)

 Water- Oceans, rivers, and rain play a key role in water erosion.  Wind- Common in dry, barren regions with little water and vegetation.  Ice- The most prominent example of Ice erosion can be seen through the movement of Glaciers.  Gravity- Influences almost all types of erosion. Erosion - The process through which rock is removed or worn down.

DDeposition- The process of depositing rock fragments as sediment. RRivers deposit sediment and wash chemical elements out to sea. OOceans create formations such as arches and sea stacks. Arch Sea Stack

Wind  Wind is a crucial part of weathering and erosion in desert climates. Wind erodes substances through a process known as abrasion  Abrasion- When rock particles collide with other rocks and grind them away.

DDue to their massive size, glaciers move and erode any land within their path. AA common way glaciers erode is through plucking, the process in which the ice moves till and forms moraines. TTill – A mixture of rocks and minerals transported by a glacier. MMoraines – Lines of accumulated till left behind. Moraines
