Food And Water  Eat every week  Eat leaves, Twigs, fruit  Most water come from leaves and ponds  Giraffes have to sped their legs just to get water  Can eat 75 ponds of leaves in one day  Eat leaves in tall trees  Giraffes stick their heads out to reach tall leaves out of trees  It needs 75 ponds per day of vegetation  Spend most time eating home

Daily Behavior  Run up to 35 miles from danger need sisters so the sister can protect them  They all have to take care of each others  Giraffes use their long legs to out run danger  Giraffes are native to Africa  Females keep their herd safe  Giraffes sleep standing on their hooves  Baby giraffes live with its mother until one home

Family Structures  Giraffes give birth standing up  The female giraffe feeds when their babies born  Giraffes only have babies one time  The mother takes care of babies when born  When baby giraffes are born they can run  They live As a herd  While a mother goes find food the herd baby sits
