Status First generation stave assembly tool model modified to incorporate… – Stave Geometry Length 1277mm Width 115 (nominal) with variability in c-channel placement – Vacuum Channels Original single channel with 4 feeds on long sides replaced by end-feed in sections Outstanding issues being worked on – ‘C’-channel jig model errors affecting z placement – ‘C’-channel spacing requirement – ‘C’-channel geometry – Extra features for locking point attachment jig – Cooling tube path at end of stave (need to understand if there’s a clash with tolling?)
