Use Cut small to heavy brush
Maintenance Inspect tools after each use Head –Check for cracks and burrs –Check for tightness, head is not loose –Sharpen if necessary Handle –Sand if necessary –Apply Linseed oil –Check for cracks and splinters –Make sure handle is straight, not warped or twisted
Maintenance Sharpening –Use file to sharpen –Do not sharpen point or toe
Safety Maintain 10’ spacing Maintain footing when swinging Carry on downhill side Carry parallel to the ground with head forward When passing tool; pass handle first Use gloves when using and when sharpening.
