Class Rules and procedures

 Fold a piece of paper in half, long way or hot dog fold If you don’t have paper check with a neighbor  Write your name LARGE on one side  On the other side tell me: 1. What do you think when you hear the word science? 2. One thing that you are excited about in science. 3. One thing that you are nervous about in science.

 Forms (bring filled out as soon as possible!)  Sign Science safety contract: Due Tomorrow!  Supplies Composition book, folder, pencils, paper Try to have by tomorrow Be respectful Be responsible Be Safe Be a Camel!!

 1. Arrive on time and be prepared  2. Keep body and objects to yourself  3. Follow all directions the first time given  4. Respect the people, equipment, and furnishings of room 187. Be respectful Be responsible Be Safe Be a Camel!!

 Possible Consequences include: Warning Conference Call home (teacher and/or student) Teacher Doc Be respectful Be responsible Be Safe Be a Camel!!

 You MUST have your agenda to use the restroom in case of emergencies.  Please, use the restroom before 1 st block, before lunch, and during transitions that you do not need to go to your locker.  If you are going to be sick and you know it… please use the law of 2 feet! =)  Please, stay in your seat and raise hand if you need to. “Don’t be a duckling” =) Be respectful Be responsible Be Safe Be a Camel!!

 Every week your class has no missing assignments, you earn a camel.  For every 4 camels your class earns we will celebrate your success!  Example: Drink and snack day during a class.
