 Funding for cleanup of illegal disposal sites on farm and ranch property  “Farm & Ranch Property”  Active/fallow land  Zoned for Ag Purpose of the Farm & Ranch Grant Program

Eligible Applicants  Resource Conservation Districts  Cities & Counties Local Enforcement Agency Code Enforcement Agency Public Works  Native American tribes Apply on behalf of landowner

 Unauthorized dumping on a farm or ranch parcel Includes garbage, tires, household waste Does not include rusty farm equipment, falling down buildings  Property owner is not responsible Not owner’s waste or inherited Not from a renter, lessee, friend etc… Site Eligibility

 Cleanup necessary to protect public health and safety or the environment  Property is zoned, or otherwise authorized, for agricultural activities  Current use/intended future use  Waste can be on the right-of-way next to Ag property, in the creek, ……  Marijuana grow, homeless camp… Site Eligibility continued…

Grants  Competitive – sort of  Reimburse/Invoiced Payment  $50,000/ site  $200,000/ applicant/year  No matching funds required  Applications due: February 3
