Business Communication and Religion Business communication depends on successful exchange of insight between two entities. If communication from one end is confused, not clear, or ignorant the communication fails and both the parties may suffer. In a business, you may need to communicate with people from different cultures, religions, and regions of world.

Giving importance to religion for better communication not only increases the effectiveness and efficiency regarding organization's business communication, but also provides several other benefits to the organizations. For example, it may result in followings:

Enriched job satisfaction and employee morale Retention of value human resource Boost in productivity Increased employee loyalty Decreased level of stress on employees Opportunities to explore new markets with diverse demographics Avoiding legal challenges and law suits

Communication and media in Islam Islam being a religion with complete code of life guides its adherents through the communication manners. The communication manners are a reflection of the Islamic culture and its characteristics.

Communication manners in Islam In the light of Islamic values, there are some communication manners being taught by Islamic teachings. These mannerisms require Muslims to be careful while communicating through any channel, and use appropriate communication tools.

The communication manners include: Be truthful Avoid loose talk / Backbiting Not shouting or losing control during communication Avoid cursing / foul language

Communication in Islamic history Communication as a tool has always been always there in Islamic history. Islam is essentially a communicative subject; it is essentially a message descended from God to the human kind and anyone who accepted this message will become responsible to transfer it to others. Islam focuses on transferring a specific value-based message with the intention of drawing the attention of the audience towards the true source and nature.

Internet and Islam The authority has imposed various restrictions on the online information, especially Yemen, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E inflict control through proxy servers, devices that are interjects between the end-user and the Internet so that the filter and block particular content. Internet contains several unwanted content which Islam does not permit.

Business ethics and communication Islam is practiced all over the world by billions of people and businesses being conducted in Muslim countries need to comply with the business ethics of Islam. And religion or the culture does affect the businesses in the Muslim world
