- 4 - WIRELESS BROADBAND Position Paper The lack of spectrum does not prevent the deployment of broadband services (esp. below 1 GHz) Importance of removing unnecessary restrictions on the use of available spectrum Need of collecting reliable and comparable data across the EU Avoid introducing distortions in the competition between platforms if project benefit from subsidies Clear guidance for the future orientation of the EU’s spectrum policy regarding spectrum for wireless broadband
