A virtual desktop to support the mobile elected representative eRepresentative desktop must support MPs to: Obtain personalised, specific, filtered data ‘anywhere, any place and any time’; Collaborate with each other securely and conveniently; Influence the legislative process in a timely convenient and secure manner.

Information System of the Seimas  eRepresentative Available content: ▫Laws; ▫Decisions. Commitee’s documents: ▫Agendas; ▫Minutes; ▫Other working documents.

A virtual desktop to support the mobile elected representative May, 2007 – alfa version was released. November, 2007 – beta version expected.

Expectations of eRepresentative... Committee Event Notification and Committee Workspace would enable committee members to be better prepared for meetings by increasing opportunities to share and consider amendments and their colleagues’ positions on related issues. Inter-parliamentary search agent increases representatives’ opportunities to consider matters related to draft proposals, drawing on other parliaments’ experiences.
