What is Lesson Study?

What is Lesson Study?  A model of professional development carried out by teachers in their own schools, with their own students and colleagues, in their own classrooms.  Is a group of teachers working collaboratively to plan, teach, observe and analyze lessons.  Investigates the relationship between teaching and learning.
