ISCO 88, ISCO 2008 and the Development of the ESeC, BUDAPEST 9 DECEMBER 2005 Conclusions (Eurostat’s wish-list?) Need to make adjustments to the ISCO-88 in order to adapt to changes in the occupational structure. Need to make corrections to the structure and definitions and descriptions in order to improve the validity and the reliability Major overhaul is neither desirable nor feasible Revised ISCO that could also serve unchanged for EU statistics
