Your flag? Red and yellow are the colours of the Spanish flag. There is a coat of arms in the centre of Spanish flag. This symbolizes the Spanish regions states.

A symbol of your country I think the most famous symbol of Spain is the bull because there are a lot of traditions with bulls in Spain. Bullfights are one of these traditions. Bullfighters kill bulls at bullfights and there is another traditions with bulls: A lot of people run in front of bulls in Spanish festivals. This is very dangerous and a lot of people are wounded at this tradition every year.

Where are you? Spain is situated in south-west of Europe and Catalonia is situated in the north-east of Spain.

How’s the climate? The weather is cold in Spain in winter, but not as cold as in other European countries because the sea softens the weather. In Barcelona it is very hot in the summer and there is much humidity. The climate is Mediterranean at the sea sides and continental in the centre of Spain

Capital / population The capital city of Spain is Madrid. The population of Madrid is 3,000,000 people, more or less. Madrid is situated in the centre of Spain. Madrid is one of the most famous capitals in the world. Madrid is the biggest city of Spain. The climate in Madrid is continental.

Greetings in your language Good morning = Buenos días Good afternoon =Buenas tardes Good night = Buenas noches How are you? =¿Cómo estás?

A landscape that you love This is one of my favourites landscapes. The name of these mountains are The Pyrenees. The Pyrenees are situated in Catalonia. There are a lot of running tracks to ski. The Pyrenees are one of the best places to get cool in the summer because the weather is always the cool there. In winter everywhere is covered with snow. The Pyrenees separate the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of Europe. The Pyrenees are one of the highest mountains in Europe and its highest summit is Aneto ( 3,408meters).

A favourite poem of yours EN EL FONDO del hombre Agua removida. En el agua mas clara quiero ver la vida En el fondo del hombre agua removida sombra sin salida Miguel Hernández

A product of your country Seat is a Spanish car. Seat one of most famous product of Spain. Seat cars are bought everywhere in the world. Seat was founded in 1950. Ibiza, Marbella and Toledo are the most famous models by Seat.

A recipe from your country Paella is a famous Spanish dish of saffron-flavoured rice cooked with meats, seafood and vegetables.Originating in the rice-growing areas on Spain’s Mediterranean coast the dish is especially associated with the region of Valencia. Paella takes its name from the ‘paellera’, the utensil in which it is cooked, a flat round pan with two handles; paella is traditionally eaten from the pan. To prepare paella, pieces of meat such as chicken, pork or rabbit and seafood such as clams, shrimps, mussels, crayfish and squid are sauted in olive oil with onions, garlic and herbs and removed from the pan. Rice, tomatoes, saffron and stock are simmered together, the meats and seafood mixed in and the dish is garnished with peas, peppers and other vegetables.Traditional paellas are made out of doors over a wood fire.

A proverb that you like My favourite proverb is ‘Eso es más claro que el agua’.It means ‘This is cleaner than water’.There isn’t anything clearer than water, so if one thing is very clear and someone can’t see it,you can say ‘Eso es mas claro que el agua’

A famous person Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra was born in Alcala de Henares in 1547.He was a Spanish novelist, playwright and poet. He was the creator of Don Quixote(1605) and the most important figure in Spanish literature.’Don Quixot’ was published in 1605 and was an immediate success.Though it did not bring him riches, it put him in the front rank of men of letters. He died in Madrid in 1616.
