Stimulate 2 Scientific and Technological Information Management in Libraries: an active training environment Aims at providing participants with a clearer view on the importance of information. Guides participants in retrieving information which is publicly accessible on an international scale. Teaches participants how to organise and manage their institutional, regional or national information resources.

GOOD ASPECTS The program´s objectives are ideal and if realized, they will have good impact on the participants´ value of work. The lecturers knew their stuff (quite good), and most of them were easy to get along with.

RECOMMENDATIONS Need of computers in the library, and the introduction of a software i.e. cds/isis to enable the library cope with the user’s needs. Need to train the existing staff, to enable them work with the new technologies confidently.
