WALT: Recognise more words for clothes and colours in French. WILF: An extended description of clothes with correct “agreements” for level 4.

Write down the French and English meanings of the following items of clothing.

Write down the words in French and English for the colours and styles in the picture. Use a dictionary to work out the English meaning if you are not sure. Some extra styles to add as well if you like…

Write a description of each of the items of clothing below. Tip: To achieve a higher level, add as much description as possible, make things up if you like!! Eg C’est une chemise bleue foncé en soie = It’s a dark blue, silk shirt.

Read the 4 texts below. Write in English the clothes and their colours that they say they are wearing.
